FAQ
-
Can I request sitting outside of my home?
-
We can also provide sitting on the road or accompany you and your family on outings.
We can accommodate you at your lodging, hotel lobbies, and public facilities such as children's centers and libraries. However, we may need to consult with you if your child is in a place where it is difficult to ensure their safety, such as in places affected by rain, outdoors in the middle of summer or winter, or in places that are expected to be crowded.
-
I can't seem to finish my work. Can you extend the service time on the same day?
-
We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we may not be able to meet your request due to our schedule on the day of the event. Please understand that we may not be able to meet your request due to our schedule on the day of the event.
-
What should I do about food and milk?
-
Please prepare the food in advance.
The sitter is not allowed to cook, so only microwavable food is allowed. If the client chooses to eat out, the client will be responsible for the cost of the meal.
-
How long does it take to take over the initiation?
-
The babysitter will arrive at your home 10 minutes before the requested start time.
Based on the information on the hearing sheet you have filled out in advance, we will have a meeting and take over.
-
Is it possible to shorten the time on the day of support?
-
If parents return earlier than the scheduled end time, they will still be charged for the confirmed appointment time. If you return early, we will still be available to assist you until the end of the session if you wish.
-
Can you do household chores while sitting?
-
As a rule, no housework (cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.) will be done as we cannot leave the child unattended for safety reasons. When a child has finished eating, we will only drain the dishes and hand over any leftover food to the parents.
-
Can I ask you to administer medication?
-
To request a medication to be given, please fill out an appointment request form.
Please prepare a single dose of the medication to be given and double-check the dosage with the supporter and parent/guardian at the time of handover. Please note that only medications that have been prescribed by a physician can be given, and that regular or over-the-counter medications cannot be given.
-
Do you have insurance?
-
We are insured in case of any injury to the child during the sitting.
We will compensate you within the scope of the insurance company's (Sompo Japan Insurance Inc.) regulations.
Insurance coverage is at the discretion of the insurance company. If any violation of the terms and conditions of the support is found, application for insurance will not be accepted.
-
I am worried about what kind of sitter will come. Can we have a pre-interview?
-
We will meet with you via ZOOM (free of charge) if you wish.
We will greet the sitter and talk about your child. We recommend that not only the parents but also the child be present at the meeting. Meeting the child beforehand will ease the child's shyness and psychological burden, making it easier for the child to get used to the sitter.
